26 degrees
Oh the first snow, just a skiff but her grace is on her way. I hope she will take pity on us this winter and not drift us in. I wonder how in olden days they viewed these days.
The cows breached the fence yesterday and are hunting green. Now that the snow is covering the ground I am sure it will be an everyday occurrence. The pig is snuggled in his hay bed in the barn and will soon be breaking water every morning for him. The steer will be here this weekend so another mouth to feed but we have plenty of hay in the big barn for him. I know it seems weird but I love mucking stalls in the winter.
This weekend will bring the finish of the fence at the house on Riverside. I hate using the chainsaw over my head on the tops of the posts but there is only about 20 to go. I hope to put some pictures on this weekend. Will see what time allows.
bye till tomorrow.
